New Items this week
Of course you don't need reminding, but we're going to tell you anyway that we are UK dealers for Kasama's Srimok 90. The first batch is long gone but we're expecting another batch mid month, so are taking pre-orders on our usual terms. We already have some spares in stock too and will be adding to those shortly.

If you are going down to 3D Masters, Eigil Stang Lund is flying one of these in Experts class, worth seeing, but as an aside T-Rex 700s dominate with 15 out of 27 Masters pilots using them. There is a decent amount of Prize money on offer from Align though, which probably explains at least some of the dominance.

The latest Rotorworld is on our shelves, full of great information and reviews. Get a copy today, sit somewhere cool and read...
Now, Angular Bearings from Thunder Tiger which fit the Raptor 30V2, Titan 50 and 90 tail blade holders. They are also suitable for the T-Rex 600, replacing the standard thrust bearing in the tail. Angular bearings are designed to take axial loads as well as the usual radial, which makes them ideal for tail bearings. Just make sure they are fitted the right way around.
Looking like a cross between a starship and a space station (but slightly smaller) this is the M&N Bling Bendercap, though it's probably easier to point at one and say, "I'll have one of them please". This is the Coolpower version which also fits Wildcat fuel bottles (would this be the Coolcat or Wildpower version?). Complete with hand pump, assembled and ready to fit.

This looks like a servo, and it is, so no confusion there. It's Futaba's BLS254 brushless, and is a standard size servo (40x20x37mm) with 3.8Kg of pull and a 60mS transit time. Ideal to use with the GY401 or GY520 gyros, but it can of course be used with other gyros too.

We said they were coming and here they are. Manifolds (or headers) for Hatori pipes, for both the OS91 (top picture) and YS91 engines.

To finish up with this week, the Twister 3D Storm 440 brushless inc. RC (UK), another instance where it's easier to gesticulate and proffer money or plastic.

This is factory assembled and comes with it's own 4 model-memory radio set (35MHz) and the new HL400 heading lock gyro, as well as a PCM receiver, batteries and charger. Carbon blades are also included.
And finally, Raptor 50 Titan SE kits are back in stock.
That's it
It's been quite a heat wave for most of the country, with our outside thermometers showing 33 Centigrade this afternoon. Although the temperature is going drop a bit over the next few days, there are thunderstorms heading in from the West, in fact they've already started.
Have fun, be careful if you are in the open when thunderstorms are around, particularly if you have a transmitter in your hands! If you haven't got a transmitter handy though try a tailboom, it's probably just as good... |
